Installation Guide (Fenders)

*NOTE: Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of the products sold by BodyKits4Cars.com are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only.

WARNING: PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION BY EXPERIENCED AND COMPETENT MECHANIC RECOMMENDED. MAY REQUIRE SPECIAL TOOLS AND/OR SHOP EQUIPMENT.

➀  START BY OPENING THE HOOD AND DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY. THEN PROCEED BY REMOVING ALL SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS THAT SECURE THE FRONT BUMPER, BE SURE TO CHECK THE FENDERWELLS, HOOD, AND UNDERNEATH OF THE VEHICLE. (NOTE: THE NUMBER OF SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS MAY VARY WITH EACH VEHICLE.)

➁  REMOVE THE FRONT BUMPER BY FIRMLY AND CAREFULLY PULLING FORWARD, THEN CHECK FOR ANY WIRE HARNESSES. DISCONNECT ANY WIRE HARNESSES AND LIGHTING EQUIPMENT SUCH AS TURN SIGNALS, FOGLIGHTS, ETC. (NOTE: SOME BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION MAY REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF THE HEADLAMPS. BE SURE TO DISCONNECT ANY AND ALL WIRING HARNESSES BEFORE THE REMOVAL OF THE HEADLAMPS AND REATTACH THEM TO THE HEADLAMPS AFTER THE INSTALLATION IS FINISHED.)

➂  THEN CHECK AND REMOVE ALL FACTORY HARDWARE, SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS THAT MAY BE SECURING THE SIDESKIRT TO THE CAR. BE SURE TO CHECK THE UNDERSIDE AND BOTH WHEEL-WELLS OF THE VEHICLE. (NOTE: THE NUMBER OF SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS MAY VARY WITH EACH VEHICLE.) (NOTE: STYLES MAY VARY WHICH MAY NOT REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF SIDESKIRTS.)

➃  THEN BY FIRMLY AND CAREFULLY PULLING OUTWARDS, REMOVE THE SIDESKIRT. SOME SIDESKIRTS MAY REQUIRE THAT YOU SLIDE BACK OR FORWARD BEFORE REMOVAL. (NOTE: STYLES MAY VARY WHICH MAY NOT REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF THE SIDESKIRTS.)

➄  REMOVE THE FENDER BY REMOVING ALL SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS THAT SECURE THE FENDER TO THE VEHICLE. (NOTE: BE SURE TO CHECK THE WHEELWELL, DOORJAM, AND UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE FOR SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS.) (NOTE: THE NUMPER OF SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS MAY VARY WITH EACH VEHICLE.)

➅  REMOVE THE OEM FENDERS BY FIRMLY AND CAREFULLY PULLING FORWARD, THEN CHECK FOR ANY WIRE HARNESSES. DISCONNECT ANY WIRE HARNESSES AND LIGHTING EQUIPMENT SUCH AS TURN SIGNALS, ETC. (NOTE: STYLE OF FENDERS MAY VARY WHICH MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OR RELOCATION OF FACTORY LIGHTING EQUIPMENT.)

➆  WITH THE FACTORY FENDERS REMOVED, TAKE THE AFTERMARKET FENDERS AND TEST THE FITMENT TO SEE IF THERE WILL BE ANY ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED TO ACHIEVE PROPER FITMENT. (*NOTE: STYLES MAY VARY WHICH MAY REQUIRE SANDING, TRIMMING, AND/OR REMOVAL OF BUMPER REINFORCEMNTS FOR PROPER FITMENT.)

➇  WITH THE FACTORY FENDER AS A REFERENCE TAKE A MARKER OR PENCIL AND MARK THE AFTERMARKET FENDER IN THE SAME LOCATIONS AND DRILL. ONCE THE HOLES ARE MADE, TEST THE BUMPER FOR FITMENT ONE MORE TIME TO MAKE SURE THE HOLES ARE ALIGNED. (NOTE: DRILL SIZES MAY VARY WITH EACH VEHICLE.)

➈  WITH STEPS 1-8 COMPLETED, REUSE YOUR OEM SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS TO FIRMLY ATTACH THE EXTREME DIMENSIONS/CARBON CREATIONS FENDER IN PLACE OF YOUR OEM FACTORY FENDER. (NOTE: NOT ALL FACTORY SCREWS, BOLTS, NUTS, CLIPS, AND/OR BRACKETS MAY BE REQIRED, YOU MAY ALSO USE THE SUPPLIED BRACKETS, NUTS AND BOLTS, AND/OR SCREWS THAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE KIT IF NESCESSARY.)

➉  REVERSE STEPS 1-4 AND REATTACH THE FRONT BUMPER, SIDESKIRTS, AND/OR HEADLAMPS.

***SOME FENDERS MAY REQUIRE REMOVAL AND ATTACHMENT OF THE HOOD.***
